Athletics Pulse ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Athletics Pulse is operated by Dmytro Strelkovskiy, based in Limassol, Cyprus. Our website is https://athleticspulse.com. You can contact us at support@athleticspulse.com.
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Athletics Pulse, operated by Dmytro Strelkovskiy, Limassol, Cyprus. We are the entity that decides how and why your personal data is processed.
For any privacy question or request, email us at support@athleticspulse.com. We are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Cyprus Law on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:

- -Athlete profile: sport, level, country, team, availability, equipment, and goals that you enter in the portal.
- -Training data: sessions, sets, loads, RPE values, and test results that you or your coach record.
- -Wellness check-ins: sleep, fatigue, soreness, mood, and stress scores that you log.
- -Injury information: injury status and notes that you or your coach enter.
- -Messages: the content of messages exchanged with your linked coach.
- -Purchase records: what you bought, when, and the amount. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number, CVC, or full card details.
- -Technical data: device type, IP address, and the logs needed to run the service and keep you logged in.
3. Health-related data (special category data)
Wellness check-ins (sleep, fatigue, soreness, mood, stress) and injury information are health-related data. Under Article 9 of the GDPR this is special category data. We process it only with your explicit consent, which you give when you enter it in the app.
We use this data only to adapt your training and to share it with the coach you have linked to. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing support@athleticspulse.com. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing that was already carried out.
4. Why we use your data and the legal bases
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- -Contract: to deliver the programs and subscription you signed up for, and to give you access to the athlete portal.
- -Consent: for health-related data and for any marketing emails we send you. You can opt out at any time.
- -Legitimate interest: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve how it works.
- -Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records where the law requires it.
5. Who we share your data with
We share your personal data only with:
- -Your linked coach - and only if you accept a coach invitation. The coach can then see your training, wellness, and injury data relevant to your coaching.
- -Stripe - to process your payments. Stripe handles your card data directly; we never see or store it.
- -Our hosting, infrastructure, and email-delivery providers - acting as processors on our behalf, under contract and bound by confidentiality.
- -Google - only when you choose to sign in with Google.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers listed above may process data outside the European Union. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or by another safeguards mechanism recognised under the GDPR.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.
The only exception is purchase records, which we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes for up to 6 years under Cyprus tax law.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- -Access - get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- -Rectification - ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- -Erasure - ask us to delete your personal data (the "right to be forgotten").
- -Restriction - ask us to limit how we use your data.
- -Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- -Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- -Withdraw consent - for any processing that relied on your consent, including health data and marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@athleticspulse.com. If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection at dataprotection.gov.cy.
9. Children
The service is intended for users aged 16 and over. Users under 16 may use it only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Coaches working with minors must obtain parental consent before inviting or coaching an athlete under 16.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk as low as possible.
11. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for you to log in and to remember your preferences (such as your selected currency). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
